Roller shutter and global shutter modes show two different sensor scanning methods, both of which can be read from CMOS sensors. In shutter mode, when reading "wave", different rows in the sensor array are exposed at different times, such as from left to right or from top to bottom, the high-speed camera will produce a certain image deformation under the exposure environment. In global shutter mode, each pixel in the sensor starts and ends exposure simultaneously, and its exposure mechanism is similar to the inter-line exposure mechanism of CCD. However, the scroll shutter mode achieves absolutely lowest noise and fastest asynchronous frame rates.
